The past few days have been awesome! I’ve had FaceTime on TV, saw Avengers, was a SHIELD Agent and hung out with the team, started dating Spiderman, then stole a TARDIS as Batgirl!
Ded…been so ded.
Okay, so I doubt anyone cares much…but I really am still alive. Had rough patches, had good things happen, have a lot of planning being done for costumes and…well, my wedding.
Also have been helping out a lot for the Alabama Phoenix Festival coming up in a few weeks; making SHIELD uniforms and fixing up Batgirl, which I’ll be wearing again at Free Comic Book Day.
Will also be on a few panels at APF such as hosting a comic game, on the Girls with Markers comic panel, and on the Superhero Costuming panel, all of which I’m super excited about!
After that I think we’ll be putting the Batgirl and Robin 2.0 costumes together on top of my Twilight Sparkle Gala dress, which will be a crazy undertaking all it’s own. There are a few more things in the works but I’m not sure what is finalized just yet.
I’ve also been able to control my hands a lot better lately and have started drawing more, especially practicing comic paneling and even spoke at a workshop at the Library a few weeks back on it. Josh and I have now been really working on possibly getting something done up when costuming isn’t so crazy, so we’ll see.
Other than that, same old same old. Still got nerve problems, still angry beyond reason at DC, still fighting the good fight. But that might have to be put on pause while I go to bed. Long day ahead before we get to see Avengers at midnight!
